A: Yes. All your tiles, decor and carpets will be protected during the resurfacing process.
Q: How do I clean and maintain a resurfaced bath?
A: We recommend that you clean it with any ordinary liquid cleaner and not cream or abrasive cleaners, limescale removal products are fine to use. You can use limescale removal products, these will not damage your new surface.
Q: How soon can I use my bath after resurfacing?
A: You can use your bath after 48 hours.
Q: Are there any odours associated with the resurfacing?
A: We seal off the bathroom when we do the job and use an extractor to help remove any odours, however, with this type of work you can expect an odour to be present This goes after a short while.
Q: Will my bath taps, waste and overflow have to be removed?
A: There will be no need for them to be removed. The main advantage of resurfacing is to save you the high cost of plumbing. We will not damage your existing bath taps, waste or overflow. However if you plan on replacing those items we recommend you get this done first.
Q: I am re-designing my bathroom involving substantial building work i.e. plastering, new floor, moving of WC & wash hand basin, new window, door etc. Should I have my bath resurfaced before, during or after this work?
A: We recommend that you have the bath resurfaced at the end of your bathroom renovation, this avoids any potential accidents.
Q: My bath has been resurfaced before, can it be done again?
A: Yes it can, if needed we can strip of any existing coating if your bath has been done before.
Q: What should I do prior to your arrival?
A: All we need you to do is remove everything you can from the room, towels, shampoo bottles, dressing gowns, laundry, bits we all keep in our bathrooms. If you have a shower screen and can remove it that would be helpful, although we don`t mind removing them provided it`s feasible to do so.
